Governors Corner Dining Society is an independent, student-run non-profit organization that has been operational on Stanford's campus for over 30 years. We serve over 260 students in four dining clubs: Avanti, Beefeaters, Bollard, and Middle Earth.

Our mission is to provide high quality food and service and to create a strong and vibrant community in our societies. We have four first-class chefs, some of whom have been with us for over 20 years, and pride ourselves in buying sustainable and fresh ingredients, including locally grown in-season produce and locally sourced fish.

We serve 17 meals per week. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided in all dining clubs on Monday through Friday's and student-cooked brunch and dinner are provided on Sunday's. Details about meals can be found here. 

GCDS also hosts at least three social events per dining club per quarter. These include two gala dinners and one themed special dinner, during which the chefs cook particularly special food. These are hosted in the individual clubs. In the spring, we host an all-Suites "special party" during which the chefs team up to create a feast for everyone in lieu of special dinners.
